Security Advisory: Nuke Patched 3.1 for PHP-Nuke 7.9 |
|
 Nuke Patched 3.1 now has a new package, this one for PHP-Nuke 7.9, basically it bring Nuke 7.9 up to 3.1's structure and adds fixes that didn't make it into the core.
As with the rest of the patches Nuke Patched 3.1 for Nuke 7.9 is not intended and cannot be used to upgrade previous versions of PHP-Nuke, you still need to get PHP-Nuke 7.9, install it or upgrade to it from a previous version before you can add the patch. This particular patch does not require the upgrade.php file included with the other packages as the changes in that file were included in Nuke 7.9

Security Advisory: Nuke Patched 3.0 for PHP-Nuke 7.8 |
|
 Nuke Patched 3.0 is now available for PHP-Nuke 7.8, while it includes several of 3.1's fixes it still remains as 3.0. For the time being it is only available here at NukeResources, once version 3.1 comes out in a few days the link will be made available on all the usual locations. The CVS files for it are not yet available.
Before even using it read the notes attached to the download's description which you can find here.

Security Advisory: Nuke 7.7 Patched 3.0 |
|
The latest patch for PHP-Nuke 7.7
Note: Nuke Patched is not intended for upgrading a previous version of
PHP-Nuke, it only includes the files that have been patched, you need to get the
normal version at phpnuke.org first before you can use the patch, in essence
this particular patch is meant for PHP-Nuke 7.7, you need to have PHP-Nuke 7.7
installed first before you add this patch.
Nuke Patched 3.0 is only available for PHP-Nuke 7.7 for the time being

4.3.10 and PHP
5.0.3. These are maintenance releases that in addition to non-critical
bug fixes address several very serious security issues. All Users of PHP are
strongly encouraged to upgrade to one of these releases as soon as possible.

Security Advisory: PHP-Nuke Patched 2.5 |
|
 PHP-Nuke Patched 2.5 includes a more effective file access protection and all
other fixes found in Sec-Fix Patch 7.3 plus additional variable validation to
better protect against XSS and SQL injection attacks. The list of changes will
be published at NukeFixes over the next
few days, some are already available. My apologies to those using PHP-Nuke 6.0
but its patch only underwent minor changes and does not include all the new fixes,
8 versions are a bit too much to edit, eventually this patch will only be updated
for 7.x versions.

|
Several changes have been applied to version 2.1 of the PHP-Nuke Patched series, i left the version number intact so that i could wait for feedback on them, since no bugs have been reported so far it is time to change the version number to 2.2, those that have downloaded version 2.1 in the past few days already have the new fixes and changes, the reason for changing the version to 2.2 is so that users that downloaded 2.1 when it first came out can update their files.

Security Advisory: PHP-Nuke Patched Update |
|
PHP-Nuke Patched 2.1 has been updated, a bug in article comments has been corrected and security code has been added to the News and Reviews modules to tackle several vulnerabilities reported in the last few days.
Those that were already using version 2.1 should only replace the following files:
· modules/News/friend.php
· modules/News/comments.php
· modules/Reviews/index.php
· admin/modules/comments.php
