The concept is fine but such a hack requires quite a lot more, i.e. in both Nuke versions many files were modified to allow for the editor to work, among the things edited i'd have to mention validation taken out so that the editor's code could pass, disabling the editor without restoring the validation leaves a site wide open for anyone to have a party with it.
