Nuke Patched Core - Project Online!
Date: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 @ 10:55 PM CDT Topic: Nuke Code Hacks
Looking
for
a
better
way
to
get
your
site
Patched?
Want
to
always
get
the
latest
phpNuke
patched
packages
and
fixes?
With
the
latest
security
issues
and
need
for
urgent
patches,
developing
patches
and
deploying
them
efficiently
is
key.
Nuke
Patched
Core
is a
PROACTIVE
project
for
the
entire
phpNuke
community!
Nuke
Patched
Core
is a
project
extension
from
the
Nuke
Patched
files.
Like
its
namesake,
it
incorporates
all
the
patches
for
phpNuke
from
NukeFixes
into
one
solid
set
of
files.
- Users of phpNuke 7.6, 7.7, 7.8 (soon 7.9!) can get Patched or full version packages* from our Core 7.6/7/8 set. *Updated every 24 hrs
- Users can maintain their site patches with access to our CVS repository.
- Users can easily upgrade versions without having to replace every file.
- Developers can fix and deploy patches to our CVS repository, quickly patching multiple versions from our Core sets.
- Developers can view file changes from our repository as well as coding standards used from the Patched files
Our
goal
has
been
to
remove
bad
code
resulting
in
notice
error
(one
of
the
latest
hacks
was
already
fixed
in
the
Patched
files
because
of
this).
Our
next
goal
is
remove
the
need
for
register_globals
or
import_request_variables
that
causes
many
PHP
security
issues.

We
are
looking
