Approve_Membership 5.0 for PHP-Nuke 7.1
chris writes "Hello Nukers, a new version 5.0 of the popular Approve Membership module for PHP-Nuke is available for download! It is optimized for PHP-Nuke 7.1. The module allows an administrator to approve membership applications. The applicant's details are sent to a pendingusers table and a notification email is sent to the administrator. Read on for a complete description of new features added and old bugs removed. ;)

Approve_Membership5.0-7.1 A Module for PHP-Nuke which allows Administrators to moderate the registration process. Author: Ken Arnold Website: Ulsoft Release Date: 15th April 2004 Download Link: Approve Membership v.5.0-7.1 PHP-Nuke module New Features: Admins can now choose whether to allow users to turn off any additional fields. Admins can now choose whether any additional fields will appear in the Members List. Any fields appearing in the Members List are fully sortable. Additional fields are now only viewable by registered members in UserInfo Theme fixes are included for all themes in the NukeCops Gallery as well as the Standard themes. The SuperUser can now add admins to the Approve_Membership Module and to the Pre-approved Email addresses page. All tables now use user_prefix instead of prefix to facilitate sharing of databases. Bugs Fixed An HTML bug causing incorrect display of message update forms has been corrected Existing Features Administrators can add up to five admin defined text fields to the registration form. Administrators can define the name, size and maxlength of each field and whether it is activated or not. All additional fields are required. Users can choose whether the additional fields are displayed to the general public or not. All activated fields are editable by the user and admin via all of the normal routes. The module has been constructed to work with all of the standard themes. For any other theme, contact the author. All activated additional fields are displayed in the pending users details for admins Pending users details now displays the applicants IP address The module allows an administrator to approve membership applications. The applicant's details are sent to a pendingusers table and a notification email is sent to the administrator. A list of pending applicants is displayed to the administrator, who can delete or approve as he thinks fit. On approval, the normal email is sent to the applicant. The option is available to add a customisable message to this email. The option is available to send a follow up email to an applicant. This email is customisable. The option is available to send an email to a rejected applicant. This email is customisable. Administrators can pre-approve a list of email addresses. Only those on the pre-approved list of applicants will be automatically registered. The module can be configured to add the approved user directly to the database or send the normal activation link email. For applicants who are not pre-approved, the administrator can configure the module to reject the application completely, reject the application and send a customisable rejection email, add the applicant to a list of pending applications and send a customisable follow-up email, or add the applicant to the pending applications list only. Many applications in the pending users list can now be processed with a single click of a button The option is now available to include the activation link or not to users approved by the administrator from the pending users list Additional Information: The Approve Membership v.5.0-7.1 PHP-Nuke module is extensively discussed in the Authorize Accounts dedicated thread at Chris Karakas' PHP-Nuke forum"
