77patched installed - howto restore forums

I did the fix using 77patched, ran the upgradedb; now I am getting errors accessing my forum. I had upgraded phpBB; what steps do I take to get the phpBB back?

the following is the error I get when trying to acces the forum:

Upgrade file must have not been executed. Use the .sql and use phpMyAdmin to update your database
