Hi guys,

I have installed a fresh version of php nuke 7.9 works fine. When I copy in the patch 3.1 files, I cannot log into the site or the admin pages, if i try to login as a users the modules come up inactive. i have check the database and the modules are active.
I have replicated the environment locally and the same issue arises every time.
I am using IIS, PHP Version 4.3.11 and mysql4.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Mac

Is your config.php set to "mysql4" ? It is buggy, I recommend using "MySQL"

fresh install using PHP-Nuke 7.9 with patch PHP-Nuke 7.9.0.3.1a. This didnt resolve the issues, create a super users and try to log in - just loops back to the login in page, check the database user has been created.

try to login as normal user not - states the module is not active, I check the DB and the module is active ?

On my config all works fine unders 7.9 but once 7.9.0.3.1/a is apply i cant get in.

Evaders99 you are right the database is the problem. none of the Patch work if you have the DB type set to mysql4.

I have tested with 7.8/ platuim and 7.9 and once the patch is apply the admin page loops or module come up a inactive or just a blank screen .

Thanks guys,

Mac

I doubt phpNuke works with mysql4, at least that's been my experience Smile
Good luck
