@ Evaders99: Thanks for helping out. After much surfing I found a solution that worked.
there are many people with this no HTML or BB Code in signatures issue, but few answers.
A lot of suggestion to add the tags needed to the list in the phpbb2 configuration (seperated by a comma) but that wasn't it.
A few listed code you could copy and paste in to the bbcode.php file (I think I have the right file)...but the solution that worked for me was to actaully access the phpbb user config file which must not be so integrated with the php-nuke Your account page because once I got to the actual phpbb user config that was where the allow html and bb code fixed the issue.
I may be wrong, I am just a newbie with php but it seems that the Your Account page is not properly connected to the phpbb user account page.
May be caused by the theme, smartDark in my case, or it may have been caused by the chatserve 3.1 security patches, or it just may be an issue with integration of a phpbb2 with phpnuke 7.7....Ahhh but this is the problem with free open source code isn't it. You install, or try to install something new or a security patch and it breaks something else....wait am I talking about open source or Microsoft? LOL
Again thanks for trying to help me and I hope this post helps someone with the same issue.
Here is the link that I used to get to the phpbb user set up (Not the php-nuke "your account" page) ... this is not my domain this is the guy who posted the fix that worked for me.
When I go to the Forum there is a tiny link at the top on the forum "Profile" this takes me to the phpBB user account panel and that is where you can fix the no html or bbcode if this is the same issue you are experiencing.
