running fresh 7.8 install with patch 3.1

Rank and group defaults to newbe for all members including admins

I assume you've changed the ranks in your Forums admin panel?
Can you make more posts?

Well The standard ranks seem to work I posted a few tests and moved to the next rank I set

It looks like its an issue with admins ranking I created another user and gave it admin then posted and it still has it listed as newbe with a newbe rank

I made sure that the "Set as Special Rank" was set to yes for admins and still no good

Even in the porfile its listed as member not admin
