Since I had upload my webfiles to a new linux webspace with apache 2.0.52 (before i use MS IIS), the mails will not be send out.

this thing appears on all modules except the phpbb-modules, which where i can define a smtp-server!

I hope, anybody can help me and give me any infos, what went wrong! Is this an error in the configuration of php.ini or is the error a phpnuke error. I use 7.8 and i had this problem today also with 7.5

phpNuke uses the local mail() of PHP. You'd have to check to make sure its properly configured

i don't know enough about this. I checked /etc/php.ini and with my knowledge all looks fine! I also tried the use of the -f command, but without any positiv result!

what are the alternatives?
i had read, that i can change the registration function of new users to the forums registration!

but how can i change the password lost function, the "tell the story to a friend" function? and so on...

Is there any possibility or existing module, that change all the calls to the mail() function in a way, that the phpbb-mailer in the includes-directory will be used?

i can't change this by myself, my php-knowledge is very minimal and the phpbb-smtp-mailerprogramm looks like a little bit difficult

Or is there any other possibility, to solve this? i had read about the no mail account hack, but does this tool really solve all the problems, what i have?
