I have volunteered to design a website for a different clan.... I have uploaded Evaders full version of Nuke 7.8 patch 3.2 I have configured the MySql database correctly, but when I try and access the website all I get is a blank page.. no error messages or anything just a blank white page I can't even create the superadmin acct at this point. Any ideas on where I need to go next to finish this step????
Weird, do you know what version of PHP and MySQL they are using?
I don't currently have a full version of Nuke with Patched 3.2. The 3.2 package I am testing does not have all the files, but there is a full version for 3.1
I discovered the problem... I didn't upload the necessary theme.. DeepBlue.. as soon as I upload it I was up and running with no problems.. and maybe it is 3.1 but I got it from your evaders.swrebellion site.
That is what I did.. its like I said in my previous post because I didn't install the Deep Blue theme there was nothing for the home page to open to.. once I installed that I was able to get the page up and create the super user and so far everything is working just fine. As for the forum redirect.. I found out how to create a new index.php file for the forums module from the phpnuke.org howto section.... now the only thing left for me to figure out is how to add a link to take the user back to the original homepage after they are done reading the forums.
I could not get a fresh installation of 7.9 to work. Soon as I updated my config.php file, I got the CGI error for both admin and index php files. Tried two diff domains. Downloaded and installed the patch from this site. No change. Tried other things to no avail.
Removed everything and uploaded 7.7 and it worked like a champ right away so I guess 7.9 isn't ready for prime time yet on IIS.
Here is the environment I was unable to run 7.9 on if anyone is interested. I'll try some upgrades or I might just settle for 7.7.
