now i find it curious that all the php files in nuke are pretty much designed the same...brakets functions all spaced out..but on a few addons i noticed this to be different...other addons i notice this to be trhe same.

do the coders use a program of sorts to create php code...ive so far been using a text editor..notepad.

I have learned a lot with these forums and coding my own things on my own site..but i find it extremely difficult to code it 100% correctly and to make it all work.

Ive managed to use examples to make the code work the way i like and ive searched for php coding programs but yeah..i either dont understand it to the extent i need to or there is a program out there to fill in the gaps.

probably that im not at the level to understand the coding the way i need to.

ANY thoughts?

Notepad isn't bad. But you'll probably want a better text editor that shows line numbers and does syntax coloring. Personally, I recommend using Crimson Editor. Its free and quite powerful.

A lot of PHP is just copying code. That's the power of open source Wink
