I know this has been asked and I've searched the forums, but couldn't find a solution.
My problem is that when all the links I add to the News are coming out as

http://mydomain.com/http://yourlink.com\
when I go to view it and put my mouse over the link.
I tried doing this with the Tinymce editor and without it by turning off the editor in config.php, but the link still comes out that way with the mydomain.com and the slash at the end.
