not so much an upgrading question but im not sure where to post

i am currently looking into moving to a different webspace provider and don't want to loose my site and databases etc

can i just download my public_html folder and export my databases and then re-upload to the new server and import the databases and of course make any chages in config.php regarding database names etc if they change?

or is there more to it than that?
regards
