Sounds silly but is needed: since I am in the process to put all the old news items from my static site into my nuke site (launch in feb) I would like to keep the record of when the news items have been produced. How can I turn back the default time for those items?

One possible workaround would be to post them normally and then edit the date using phpMyAdmin by entering the desired dates in the $prefix_stories table under the time field, you´d have to use the same time format used in that field.

You can´t find a stories table in your database? Your installation may have gone wrong.
