when i add a new module it doesnt show up in the modules list...i have already installed modules and they have worked fine. The last module i can remember installing since the start of this problem was n70module which was suppose to be a menu tweak to catorize the menu into sections. But after i installed it, it didnt work properly and told me there was a error so i took it out deleted the sql database and reinstalled the file that was overwrited with the old one that i copied before i did this... i also noticed the module was for 7.0 and i have 6.9..so im thinking this was the problem.. i was then told that there is the 6.9 patch that might fix it ...but i am very dumb at this stuff and couldnt figure the patch out...just wasnt english to me and i didnt want to take a chance and erase everything...if someone knows how to fix this module problem PLEASE help me out ....THX

Check the modules database table, if it has a field named mcid remove it.

Check with your webhost if your account has phpMyAdminwhich is the tool used to access the database, often they provide it via a control panel

Glad that you got it solved, i'm currently working on a admin feature that will keep track of 3rd party add-ons which might help minimze problems like the one you had, it might take time because i'm having problems staying online because of defective hardware which has set me back on my projects but eventually it will get done.
