I uploaded a block called "Who-is-were" Much like the one on this site (under Site Visitors). I downloaded this block and I followed the instructions on the read me file. I uploaded it to the ftp and all. When I add a new block it was even on the drop down list, but after I click "create block" the page refresh and it's doesn't seem to appear on the block list. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried several of the available Who_Is_Where blocks, some have worked some have not. I should be showing up within the blocks menu though if you have added it.
Perhaps if you named it Who_Is_Where, nuke is reading the underscores as invalid, and returning no name in the block list.
Have you tried adding it again with a different name?
Also I believe by default newly created blocks are activated, is it working?

Using phpMyAdmin or similar tool take a look at your blocks db table, how many fields does it have (fields being bid, bposition, etc) and what Nuke version?

I am using nuke 6.9

on the read me file it said: (this is another block)

"Active Users Block care of PRIME 1
http://www.prime1now.com

Hiya

This is the Active Users Block for PHPNuke 6.x by
Dr. Scares <drscares@prime1now.com>

Installation

Installation is a Snap
Just follow these steps:

1. Unzip the contents of Active_Users_Block.zip
2. Copy the file block-Active_users.php into your
blocks folder (e.g. /rootdirectory/blocks/
3. Thats it!"

well after trying that for many many times the block won't show up on my block list.
