I have everything installed and setup and everything appears to be working fine until a user responds to there account notification email to activate there account. Once they click the link in there email it takes them back to the PHP-Nuke website and say that there account has been successully activated, but when they try to login for the first time with there user name and password it say invalid login. If I look at the members list in the administration page it shows zero members activated. When I look in the users database in MySQL it is empty also. Why won't it create a record in the database for them to be active. It does create a record in the temp users database to send them the email. All the permissions on my NUKE database are the same for a tables. Anyone have a clue of what is happening here.
For some reason the query is dying. You will need to do some debugging with the Your_Account index.php file. Find where it is inserting to the users table, echo that query to the browser and try to do it in phpMyAdmin.
Ok I got it work, but I'm not sure why I had to do this. Maybe someone could explain. Here is what I did. I uninstalled MySQL 5 and reinstalled it again. During the installation it had an option to TURN OFF STRICT MODE. So I unchecked strict mode to disable it. Then I reinstalled the nuke.sql tables and now everything is working fine as far as I know.
i dont know that much about mysql to that degree...but i believe thats designed to secure the database not allowing new information to be added to the database...weird though.
