in the forum admin i have the signature setting at 500 characters but when i look at my sig in the forum post its cut off i tried to change it to 800 but it didnt do anything is there somewhere i can go and change it manualy?
hmmm what version of bb do u have and is a port like nuke?
if so i think ur problem may be in ur theme not ur bb
so try the default theme and see if thats the case...i believe it would be one of ur tpl files in the theme cuttin ur message out..if thats the case...change themes or post ur theme and ill grab it and look for the code and get back to u.

but after the word back it stops it does it in the forums as well as on the page in (your account) also so both are doing the same thing

in the forums configuration? well i have that at 800 now. ive tried it at 500 and hehe even 5000 and nothing changed

hes talkin bout the user table...the max characters allowed in the sig.
this is in the sql database...on the row thats for sigs..u should see it say text then a max character...if u have trouble..holar at me and ill write u a update script for it...just let me know how many characters u want.
