I have this message on my PHPBB forums admin page:
Your installation does not seem to be up to date. Updates are available for your version of phpBB, please visit http://www.phpbb.com/downloads.php to obtain the latest version.
The latest available version is phpBB 2.0.20.You are running phpBB 2.0.17.
To further complicate matters, in the footer of the same page is this:
This is the phpBB that came with the PHP-Nuke 7.7 that I installed. I am a little confused as to how to upgrade and which version of phpBB to use. Is Tom Nitzschner's version just a rogue version or is it part of the phpBB open standard?
I have done research and in order to get to phpBB 2.0.20, I have to upgrade first to 2.0.18, then 2.0.19 and then I can upgrade to 2.0.20. However, I could not find a link on the www.phpbb.com download page for the 2.0.18 or 2.0.19 versions.
However, I did find them on the NukeResources.com download section. But it states that I must have PHP-Nuke 2.9 patched. How can I determine what is the version of the PHP-Nuke patch that I have?
If someone can give me the procedure steps to upgrade the forums to the 2.0.20 version using PHP-Nuke 7.7, I would surely appreciate it. This is really confusing and I'm an IT guy! LOL
BBtoNuke is only available here, do a search for BBtoNuke in our downloads section and all of them should come up, as for Nuke Patched there are two versions of BBtoNuke for each phpBB version: one for Nuke Patched and one for core Nuke, the download will state which is for either.
