Is it possible to stop annonymous news submissions, or at least stop automated news submissions. I'm getting a lot of viagra etc spam news articles and, even though I can just delete them unapproved, it's getting a bit annoying.

I'm ussing nuke 7.7 with patched 3.2.

If you mean news article posting and not news coment spam then just change the permissions on the Submit News module to 'registered users'.

It will not stop spam but at least you will be able to track the user and ban them or their IP.
