We are having several problems and believed they are all tied together. I am not the one that installed the forums or made changes. But I have been asked to help fix the problems. Again we believe they are all tied together and is probably something simple. Please provide insight if you can.
1) Can not upload to the site after pluggin installed - Avatars Images Etc
2) Can not PM or Respond to Said
3) Once you logged into forums and read anything all posts are marked as read.
Most of these issues accompany a invalid session error. However and here is the big kicker if the user is upgraded to an admin then the issue's no longer exist.
We are running phpBB 2.0.22
Can anyone provide some thoughts, My other admin feels its a cookie related issue. But I am not sure why that would be if when made an admin the problem is resolved.
By chance you wouldn't have "cookies secure" enabled in the forums admin configuration? I was just helping someone update that was having invalid sessions (forums and private messages) and after changing that (disabled) the problems went away.
