Yes, just overwrite your files, make sure to edit your config.php again, run the upgrade scripts.

No, the data you have in your database should be fine

The admin language file only requires a few lines added to the start of it right before:

Code:
define("_SEND","Send");

The New lines are:
Code:
define("_DOWNLOAD","Downloads");
define("_ENCYCLOPEDIA","Encyclopedia");
define("_FAQ","F.A.Q.");
define("_NEWS","News");
define("_REVIEWS","Reviews");
define("_ADMPOLLS","Survey / Polls");
define("_TOPICS","Topics");
define("_WEBLINKS","Web Links");

I'm sorry to have to ask such a stupid question (and so later after the original post) but which/where is the admin language file? I'm assuming this should be admin.php in the language dir? I can't find any admin file with anything like the define code etc.

[edit - found it ... and i've been looking for days too - sorry]

InnoDB: Added the startup option and settable global variable innodb_max_purge_lag for delaying INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE operations when the purge operations are lagging.
InnoDB: The innodb_autoextend_increment startup option that was introduced in release 4.1.5 was made a settable global variable.
TIMESTAMP columns now can store NULL values.

I'm wondering, if I upgrade to 7.5, do I need to apply the upgrade files for 7.4. I've been led to believe that the patch and phbb upgrade were the essential changes of 7.4.

You just need to run the upgrade scripts. That should be it. I don't see anything from 7.3 to 7.4 that does any forums changes - only the version number.

Hmm missing posts? Did you convert from phpBB? phpNuke uses a different anonymous user_id (instead of -1 its 1)
