I don't know if you would consider this a 'Bug', but it is definitely a 'Fix', so...
I recently discovered that the Web_Links feature on my web site had quit working. When you clicked on a web site link, it would take you back to the main Web_Links Menu, instead of following the hyperlink. The links in the header, 'Search', 'New', et cetera, didn't work either.
I always backup before doing upgrades. The last working copy of the Web_Links index file was prior to doing 'Patched 2.4', so I centered my attention on that.
At this point, I should mention that my site is Goggletap'ed, as are many other sites. This was part of the problem. As it turned out, a combination of Googletap and 'Patched 2.4' had caused my Web_Links to quit working.
The 'Fix' is easy. Simply edit the index.php file for Web_Links...
Find all instances of:
Code:
&l_op
And replace with:
Code:
&l_op
I suppose I could have made a similar change in Googletap, instead of 'Patched 2.4', but GT tends to be a can of worms, with files spread out all over the place, so it was easier to 'Fix' the security patch...
