I installed NukeC 1.0 some time ago, and I just saw this:

"...hope the author removed the virus his previous version had"

at:

What the hell is that about ???

I recall making that comment, the virus was present in the first version (1.0) if i recall correctly, the author did say it was removed from later versions.

Unfortunately, 1.0 is the one I installed.

I worked like hell to get most bugs out and get it to work decently.
Then they come out with 1.5 and I tried it in a test site. It was still buggy and wouldn't work properly, so I went back to using the now "working" 1.0 and I'd rather stick with that one if possible.

and I posted about this on their forum, but no reply.

So would you, by any chance, know where I can get info about getting rid of this virus ?

If you downloaded it recently i would not worry much about it as the author took care of this soon after it was released.
