Hi, I just 'upgraded' from phpBB 2.0.6c to phpNuke 7.3 and I'm missing a configuration option.

In phpBB there's an option in 'Configuration' which says: "Enable account activation" giving you 3 choices (None/User/Admin)

Is there such a thing in phpNuke 7.3?

Any help appreciated,
eX.

Yea, I tried that. When I set the option to 'Admin' and try creating a new user, I still get a activation email. As if there's something overwriting the Forum setting... Confused

It has been awhile since I used a straight PhpBB. Please
explain what it is you are trying to do? Only have admins
be able to register accounts or disable new account activation?

There is also another way to add a user >
in the admin panel www.yoursite.com/admin.php
click on "edit users."

phpNuke does not use the phpBB account settings. To get admin confirmed accounts, use the Approve Membership addon.
