Hey I just got my site working with PHP-Nuke after lots of problem solving and I cannot create an Administrator Account/Super User.

It says there are no Administrator Accounts yet, so i try to make one. I submit, and then it asks me to Login with the Adminstrator account. I click login, and it brings me back to the page to create an Admin Account.

I am not able to create a regular user account either, when recieving a confirmation email and hitting the link, it says no user in database.

This may be a common problem, if so I apologize.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Laughing

Hello,

Did you get this working?
What version of Nuke are you using and
what platform (Linux, WinIIS, PhpVersion,MySql version etc.)?
Can you look in the database and see if the user name is there
(using myPhpadmin - look in nuke_authors, nuke_users, and
nuke_users temp tables)?

I had the same problem.

What I was doing:
When creating a superuser I deselected the create normal use option.

I deleted the database and then started over but left the normal user option at the default of "yes".

Not a conclusive test but, I was able to login just fine the second time.

/bug ???

HI, I am having the same problem but have tried the above with no luck. After I create the admin account and password it asks me to log on. I type in the name and password and the screen just refreshes and shows my as not logged on. Please help! Thanks

Hello Asphalt,
Would you have cookies enabled in
your browser?

What type of system is your Nuke
installed on ? Would it be a Windows IIS
system?
