I've just had to reinstall Apache etc. I had previously copied all the
mysql data directory, just in case.
Now I have just recopied that data directory back into the the mysql
directory (overwritten the new data directory)
Now I am back up and running, (sort off), I cannot get the mysql
database to run.
In using http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/ and entering the username and
password, it will not accept it, and it just keeps on showing the
username/password entry messsage.
But in using MySQL administrator v1.0.20 it lets me into the database,
with the same username and password.
All my data is still there, and all my user accounts are still there.
But it has lost all of the 'schema privileges'.
