Hello there Chatserv. I noticed at the bottom of your forums here you had an option to hide the left hand block (for some reason it doesn´t seem to be working for me) this is something I am very interested in doing! I read a Post at Nukemods.com that allowed you to hardcode this option into a theme, but basically I have some users that would like to see the forums full screen and some who would rather keep it within nuke. So a user definable link such as you have below your forum would be just the ticket.
Was curious if this is something that you already know how to do?
As you see by reading my post I was thinking of adding a checkbox in the forum profile for the user but a link the can click on and off which maybe added a line to thier cookie would work just as well for me.
Just so ya know I am using Nuke6.0 with bbtonuke 2.0.6.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!!
Chatserv? You there do you still check your own forums?
I see you active over on nukeforums.com I just figured I would ask you this question here because your site was the only one I have seen that had such a feature.
Should I take my question over to Nukeforums?
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on the matter! :-]
Sorry for the late reply, the hide left blocks feature is part of the Splatt forum´s code and may be designed for Nuke 6.0´s themes, i have not checked into it as there´s no real need for it here and also because while we run nuke 6.0 the theme was not originally meant for it and since it´s a NukeResources original i don´t want to tamper with his code, one last thing blocking me from checking into this is that i no longer have my test site as the place where i had it closed and i am not a big fan of running tests on production sites, but we´ll see, maybe i´ll find another place to run the test site.
I see thanks for the reply!!! I have a couple of other feelers out there maybe I will post something on Nuke Forums see if humpa or one of the other gurus has any clues
I often joke about being half senile but i´m now starting to believe it´s true, the thought about setting up the test site on your box never even crossed my mind i´ll get it done tomorrow, might as well install nuke 6.5 to start hunting for bugs. Thanks bro. :-]
