i keep getting this error when someone tryes to register with my site

Warning: mail(): "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in D:\websites\cwb2\modules\Your_Account\index.php on line 144

the "sendmail_from" in my php.ini is set to cwb-webmaster@incentre.net

and line 144 reads as follows....

mail($user_email, $subject, $message, "From: $from\nX-Mailer: PHP/" . phpversion());

How do I set the custom "From:" header
or is there somthing else I'm missing?
