I can't submit any content, even test posts. I also noticed that I can't make any changes at all either. However the News submission and edit works fine. That tends to rule out the TinyMCE editor as the problem.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One other thing I need to note, I do have the mainfile.php from the 3.1 patch rather than 3.2. Because I am running 7.9 patched, and because I had to do several manual install adjustments to Sentinel to get it to work with 7.9, I have avoided trying to redo the manual fixes I had to do. The Sentinel install turned out to be a little buggy too, but I already fixed that.
If someone could provide me with all of the 7.9 base to 7.9.3.2 mainfile.php manual patch instruction I will check them all myself. If I have to I can also do a file compare.
I have some PHP skills and can troubleshoot okay, but this one with the content has me stumped because it does not return **any** error message, no indication that there is a problem, it just doesn't post or change. But it responds normally???
I have found the problem... And it is a size posting limitation that is either new to the more recent Nuke releases, or related to a limitation with TinyMCE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Because some of my Content Posts are very large, a long time ago I made a minor change to the "nuke_pages" table by adjusting the "text" field to a "LONGTEXT" type.

That allows me to enter very large documents without hitting the text limitations from the standard Nuke application.

However, either the new / updated Content php files, or the TinyMCE application have a size limit. Anybody out there have any ideas on where the limitation might be and how to correct it?

After doing more testing and troubleshooting, I was wrong, it is NOT related to the size of the post, it is related to a special character in the body of the post.

I have not tracked it down to the particular character or character string that is causing the bug, but I am now certain that is what it is.

I had one earlier post with a colon in it, and when I deleted the colon, it posted fine.
