Hey,
This isn't a bug, but a problem and didn't know where else to put it Smile

On my site the permissions have gone bananas, images will not show, i can't get into the admin section of the forums, avatars will not show, can't get into admin section for vwar. etz.

And this actually just happend out of the "blue", working one day, the next day not.

Stuff like ranks in the forums also comes out double hehe.

What can have happend? how can i fix this? set the permissions manually in the shell again? in that case witch permissions should i use? i guess chmod 777 will be alittle overkill Smile

Thanx for any advice i can get. I hope i don't need to reinstall the nuke portal either, since i can't get into the admin section of the forums i can't take a backup, so i would loose around 1500 posts :/

If your database is intact, you should be fine. Did the administrators on your server do any changes? Perhaps they did some server upgrades?
Did a hacker get in? Any signs that your site has been defaced?

My DB is intact, i'm one of the admins on that server and haven't done anything, the other admin claims he hasn't done anything either so i just don't get it. A hacker maybe, hehe I'm running nuke 7.9.

Would there be any problems for me just deleteing the entire site, just upload nuke 7.6 and use the same DB as i did before and the site will be good again?

Your database will need to be downgraded to work with 7.6
There is a downgrader script at http://www.nukescripts.net
