This may sound strange but dont laugh please because i am serious (hahahah). I have patched my site with php 7.6 patch 3.3. when i click on the Submit module and text anything in there i can preview and click OK to submit.
The problem here is that, when i click on the Submit Module, and copy a text from lets say Word and paste it in Submit text areas, and click PREVIEW, it goes back to the index page. Hence it doesnt preview or allow me to submit.
Is this done intentionally or another bug in the patch 3.3?
Please help as i cant retype every article i receive.
Certain code generated by Word may not be allowed for security reasons. You should use a simple text editor (Notepad, Crimson Editor, etc) if you just want your text and not all the junk code Word produces.
Thanks for replying to my question. I think i know know, the text i was copying and pasting had the word 'Union' in it, and i think the new patch does not allow certain sql keywords. I found out the painful way by going through every single line, copied and pasted. the submit module allowed some and didnt allow some lines. i went through word by word th establish what was causing this and noticed that, it was the word Union, which is part of sql syntax. sad but at least it works now.
