I'm a dummie T-T BBtoNuke 2.0.21 - 2.0.23

Hi there. i'm totally new to phpbb forums, and am trying to maintain my companies new website

basically, phpnuke 8.1 was just installed which comes with the BBtoNuke. When i went into forum admin, it says you have 2.0.21 installed, please update to 2.0.23 (BBtoNuke i need)

i thought... ok, to be security conscieous i had better upgrade.......... so i downloaded 2.0.23 BBtoNuke full package (BBtoNuke2.0.238XFull) from here, and ftp'd all the files , but then the forum goes totally blank lol. and then i read somewhere that i have to do one upgrade at a time? e.g. go to 2.0.22...... ??

Now......
i've just deleted everything, and am starting from scratch again. 8.1 in again, and now i want to update 2.0.21 to 2.0.23 BBtoNuke with no problems........ but how ? Rolling Eyes

can someone forgiving please give me a newbies dummies guide to how i do this? Wink

.......... how and where do i get subforums? phpbbtonuke doesnt seem to have any (_ _) but i dont need one subforum, i need quite a lot......... is there any module that would work with 2.0.21 or if i successfully upgrade to 2.0.23

is there one for that ? or is this link here i found the right validated place to go? http://ptifo.clanmckeen.com/download.php?pack=86 and how do i install this ?????
